Campaign Center Quick-Start Guide

Need help? You've come to the right place. What follows is the basic information you need to get started either playing in a game or starting your own.

With the Campaign Center, everyone has the ability to start their own PBP (Play By Post) online game. The game can be anything you want, not just one of Palladium's line. I know that most people will probably choose to play Palladium RPGs simply because that is the line I concentrate on, but I thought I'd let everyone know that the option to run other games (Shadowrun, Vampire, GURPS, etc.) is available as long as you already know the system. I'm only providing the medium for you and your group to play over. Players and gamemasters will need to supply their own books.

Quick Start...
  1. Register with the Campaign Center.
  2. Post to either Players Wanted or Gamemasters Wanted.
  3. Submit a Game Forum Request (if starting your own game).

Joining a Game
With that out of the way, on to the good stuff. If you want to be able to make yourself known so that you can join a game, you'll need to register with the Campaign Center first. Once you've done that, just post to the Wanted: Gamemasters board and see if anyone is looking for players.

Running Your Own Game
Alternatively, if you want to run a game, but need some players, you can do this as well. You still need to register, but you'll want to post to the Wanted: Players forum instead.

Once you've got your players together, you'll need to complete the Game Forum Request form (it's just a short, online form) so that I know you need a place to play. Make sure you know your user's logins so you can grant them access to the game forum.

Usernames and Passwords
Usernames and passwords are both case sensitive. Anytime you log in, you will need to make sure you are using the same case as when you registered. For instance, if you registered with the username "BoB", you will need to sign in to the Campaign Center with "BoB" as your username. If you enter "Bob" for the username, it will say you either don't exist or the password is incorrect (depending on which was entered incorrectly).
