Other than that, life's been downright insane. Was laid off from the job that brought me to Nashville last March and picked up a new software development job about a month later (luckily). In that interim month, though, I started waiting tables and I've kept that job for the extra cash. It's not a bad deal, but it does make for some long weeks.

On the other hand, it also has allowed to start planning my trip to Ireland this Fall (yay!). I also just got back from New Orleans - can I just say that Mardi Gras is nothing short of INSANITY (the good kind of insanity, though). Hopefully I'll get some photos posted from that trip soon.

I've pretty much given up on finding a local RPG group here in Nashville. Nothing has worked out so I've turned myself over to the MMORPG demons. No World of Warcraft for me, though, I'm really enjoying EVE Online. Nothing like a little economic power and some quality PvP for good measure. Check it out if you find yourself in a city/town sans gaming buddies.
