I have been playing Palladium games for the past seventeen years,
ever since a friend of my younger brother introduced me to them through
Rifts and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. I think that Palladium
has done a lot to shape my game design philosophy, providing me with
great opportunities to test my ability to modify rules and come up with
new material.
Most important to any Palladium page is the Internet
Policy. I'm not sure which specific trademarks of theirs I have
used, but I assure anyone reading this that it was done without
challenge to their rights to them. While I own and claim the copyright
on my own words and the applications of certain concepts, I do not
claim rights to anything that has been copyrighted, trademarked, or
registered by Palladium.
I also run a mailing list for all games, but with a special interest in Palladium Fantasy. It's called the Tavern and is a friendly list. Feel free to join, though don't forget to post an introduction (or we'll boot you within a week).
1. Something by Sidekick Sid, a spell in honor of yours truly.
2. What happens when a marriage is necessary to cement an alliance, but
two different races are involved? Read about the Joining of Houses.
3. Why should warriors have all the fun? Check out Magic Combat for the Palladium
Fantasy Role-playing Game.
4. Psionic powers are normally static for all but the most powerful of
psychics. Not anymore!
5. Why carry a spellbook? The whys and hows are now explained.
6. Based on a Jethro Tull song, the Weathercock.
1. Vampires live south of the Rio Grande River. Are they truly
undead,
or is Mexico now a Phage
World?. Featured in Rifter #25!
2. Humans seem to spring up
everywhere, with their family having more branches than any other. See
a compilation of these species, and their cross-breeding potential
before you next encounter one.
3. Total Recall is an
often over-looked psionic ability... with some overlooked side-effects.
4. Having problems with psychics ruining your best laid plots? While
it's not perfect, here's a fix
that will help reign them in.
1. My first piece is an old character of
mine, who recently lost her
life. Her stats and Morgan
Boru's history and developing psychological profile.
2. Next, we come to Daggen
Steelskull, a dwarven techno-wizard and a character in a Play By
E-Mail game I used to be in.
3. Cet Wolf-Caller has lived a hard life. Learn about the first half of
it here.
4. Larry Kirwan grew up in
Chi-town, and is still haunted by what happened there on the twelfth of
July.
5. Thomas Graham, or, as he
is sometimes known, Edwin of Cambridge, has lived through Dark Day.
What else will he have to deal with?
6. Ekensha is supposed to
be a great leader for his tribe... why isn't he?
7. Harakhamis Arimi Acherean
was my character of this year's Rifts game. A man of great power, he
died a heroic death, rather than give into temptation.
8. Flagg was a character in
an unfortunately short-lived PBEM that I was involved in.
9. Amaterasu Hiroko is a
Samurai of unsurpassing skill... and even deeper pain.
10. These are some miscellaneous character histories that I never got to use, but
thought were somewhat cool.
11. Gorion feels it is his
destiny to lead his people home... you could say he burns with a desire
to do so...
12. Major Clay Sternen is
an officer's officer... though things might soon change for him.
13. Od Brogansson, Builder of
Llorn, Follower of Belimar, is about to set out to build a temple to
the Gods of Light... because everyone knows the Gods of Light don't
have any real artisan's amongst them.
1. One night, a fair while ago, some friends and I had a rather
interesting game. See what happened between The Dragon and I.
2. A brief presentation at the Library of Bletherad, on the subject of
Changeling reproduction.
3. The night I rolled 100d6
for damage, legitimately.
4. The story of the first foster mother of Romulus and Remus, with a decidely
Palladium twist.
5. Ever wonder what goes through the mind of the average Shifter in
Rifts? Look beneath An Ever
Shifting Gaze.
6. The name of a
Wolfen tells much about him. What is your Wolfen saying?
7. Goblins and Hobgoblins and Orcs, oh my! Find out about the magic,
mystery, and culture of the Dumb
and the Ugly. Featured in Rifter #16!
8. Thoth
has put up some interesting stuff on the clans of the True Atlanteans.
Here is my most recent submission, Clan Amaterasu.
9. The secret life of Troglodytes.
Featured in Rifter #34!
10. Slavery in
Palladium Fantasy. To be featured in Rifter
#38!
